We Will Always Remember 9/11

We will ALWAYS remember the sacrifice of the brave men and women that worked to save others on 9/11/01.

Do you remember what you were doing when you heard the news?

I had just arrived at work when I heard it on the radio...why the radio happened to be on, I have no clue.

I worked at a bank and our team was usually straight-laced, but we were feeling a little silly, I guess.

Then, after we first heard what was going on, we couldn't stop listening.

Needless to say, there wasn't much "work" going on that day.

After coming home from work, I would realize that MY husband (who was in the Army) was slated to be deployed within the month.

I have never forgotten that day and the impact that it had on so many lives. It was nice to take a few minutes to remember.
